Ordinary Members have the right to a voice and to vote at General, Special and Annual General Meetings of the club. All Ordinary members affilaited with the PNGGA will be governd by the rules laid down by the PNGGA and the R&A.

Husband, wife (including defacto relationships) and children between the ages of 6-23 (if still in school). Valid IDs are required for verification of age. Only one Nomination Fee is payable. Other fees including PNGGA, Match and Cart fees are payable in full at the appropriate rate. All members of a Family Membership over tha age of 23 are considedered to have the rights and priviledges as Ordinary Members.

Eligibility for Country Memmbership is assessed by the Committee on a case-by-case basis. This Membership Category is designed to enable those persons, not normally residents of Lae (less than 3 months PCY), to enjoy the benefits of club membership. As a guide, a resident is considered to be a person who permanently resides within a 40km radius of Lae Golf Club. Country Members do not have voting rights as respective meetings. Please contact the GM for more information.

Junior Members of the Club must be sponsored by an Ordinay Member or Family Member and must be under the age of 24. Junior Members do not have voting rights at Club Meetings, nor can they be elected to the Committee. They may, from time-to-time, be co-opted to assist the Committee as required (Junior marquee events, social events and training periods.

Cadet Members are young adults between the ages of 18 and 25. They have full playing and voting rights and priviledges as Ordinary Members.

Pro-Rata Membership Fees may be approved by the Committee based on the quarter in which a ""New Membership"" application is submitted. The LGC Membership Year is from 01 January to 31 December each year. Members accepted after 31 January shall pay subscriptions for each remaining month of the year including the month that they are in. The Lae Golf Club Accounts Department will determine the exact fee payable on submission of the New Membership Application Form.

The following Fees and Levies do not attract a Pro-Rata reduction as they are an external imposte on all Club Members: PNGGA Affiliation Fee, Club Member Access Card and the Service Licence Fee.
