Caddies

A caddy can be arranged to accompany you during your round and should be booked in advance either through the Pro Shop or the Main Bar.

Caddie Bib Hire

9 Holes
K15.00 per person
(K5.00 deposit paid upon return of the bib to the Main Bar)
18 Holes
K20.00 per person
(K10.00 deposit paid upon return of the bib to the Main Bar)

Caddie Hire Procedure

On payment of the applicable fee, you will be provided a Caddie Bib. That bib is handed to the Caddie Master (located adjacent to the Practice Green) who will select an appropriate caddie to assist. On completion of the round, it is the player’s responsibility to pay the “Caddie Tip”. The recommended minimum rates for caddies are 15 kina for 9 holes and 25 kina for 18 holes, these fees are paid directly to your caddie after your round. Please note that it is customary to buy your caddy a drink & snack from the Halfway Haus after 9 holes.
DRESS CODE

Mens Dress Code

Shirts: Classic or modern collared shirts with sleeves of neat appearance only.

Headwear: Caps, visors and wide brim hats are encouraged on the course. Hats must be removed within the clubhouse.

Pants: Tailored trousers, plus fours or golf shorts only, all pants must be pulled up to waist.

Shoes: Golf shoes with socks on the course. Formal or casual shoes covering toes and heels in the clubhouse. Sandals with heel straps are also permitted.

Ladies Dress Code

Shirts: Classic or modern collared shirts of neat appearance only.

Headwear: Caps, visors and wide brim hats are encouraged on the course. Hats must be removed within the clubhouse.

Pants/Skirts: Tailored trousers, golf shorts or skirts no higher than 4 inches from the knee.

Dresses: Formal or casual dresses are allowed in the clubhouse.

Shoes: Golf shoes with socks on the course. Designer or casual shoes with straps covering the top of feet in the clubhouse. Sandals with heel straps are also permitted.

NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME

Any ripped clothing (including that which is deliberately ripped or torn) ,singlets or T-Shirts, sweat shirts, rugby or AFL jumpers, clothing bearing offensive images or writing, tracksuits, swimming or running attire, thongs / flip flops, sandals without heal straps or metal spikes of any kind.

Please be mindful that the club’s code of conduct and golf etiquette must followed at all times.

LOCAL RULES

TO BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE RULES OF GOLF

  1. OUT OF BOUNDS: Is defined by the perimeter fence surrounding the course, tennis courts and car park. The Club House area including putting green and walkways is defined by the concrete perimeter.  The maintenance road and shed running parallel to the 13th fairway is G.U.R.
  2. EMBEDDED BALL: "Through the green” may be lifted without penalty, cleaned and dropped as per Rule 16.

  3. STAKED TREES: Are to be treated as Ground Under Repair. Relief may be obtained as per Rule 16.

  4. U.R: All G.U.R. areas other than Local Rule 3 above, are any areas defined by white pegs or white lines.

  5. STONES: A ball "through the green” which comes to rest in such a position that stones interfere with the action of fairly striking at the ball, may be lifted without penalty and dropped as per Rule 15.

  6. WATER HAZARDS: The area of the pond on the right hand side of the 3rd fairway with its limit being the outside edge of the retaining wall.

  7. LATERAL WATER HAZARDS: The left hand side of 18th green marked with red pegs. If your ball enters the hazard between the red pegs your next stroke must be played from the Drop Zone or from where your last shot was played.

  8. MECHANICAL TYRE TRACKS: A ball lying in mechanical tyre tracks may be lifted without penalty, cleaned and dropped as per Rule 16.

  9. MUSHROOMS, TOADSTOOLS AND FUNGI: growing on the greens may be removed without penalty.

  10. CALL UP HOLES: Are the 8th, 11th and 17th

  11. STONES IN BUNKERS: Can be treated as movable obstructions as per Rule 15.

  12. CADDIES: If you select a caddie from the shed, they will be classified as bag carriers. Under no circumstances are members permitted to bring caddies from outside of the caddy shed, nor are visitors allowed to bring their caddy with them.

  13. PRACTICE AREAS: There are three practice areas. The first area is between the 1st, 8th and 9th  The second area is between the 8th fairways and the northern boundary of the course.  The third is the practice putting green.

 

NOTE: THESE RULES ARE SUBJECT TO ANY ADDITIONS OR ALTERATIONS, WHICH MAY BE ON DISPLAY IN THE CLUB HOUSE ON THE DAY OF PLAY.
